MOT tests can be carried out on your car up to one month before the expiry date of an existing UK MOT certificate provided that a current MOT certificate is presented to the examiner at the time of the test. Your current expiry date will not be affected, so don’t wait and have a last-minute panic and enquire about your MOT using our contact form. If you drive a vehicle over three years old, you must keep it in a safe and roadworthy condition. The MOT test checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.
